Josh Evenson

I am a native of Minot, North Dakota and ten-year Colorado transplant, along with five or six years of constant travel. Golf has been a central part of my life for more than 15 years, and I've worked in the industry since 2003. Past experience includes working for the USGA, R&A, British Golf Museum and Sanctuary Golf Course. Currently, I work for the University of St Andrews. My role is a U.S. Development Representative, and my focus is golf development, alumni relations and special events. I also have a master's degree in economics from the University of St Andrews. Needless to say, I love golf, the University, and giving my time to support worthy causes. Through my 100 Hole Hike in St Andrews, the Auld Gray Toon, I will be establishing the second golf scholarship at the University of St Andrews, called the Charles Blair Macdonald Scholarship. He brought the game of golf to the U.S., after being a student at the University of St Andrews in the early 1870's. He also was a founder of the USGA, owner/architect of National Golf Links of America, and the first winner of the U.S. Amateur in 1895.
