Jason O'Meara

I'm a father of two little girls, a husband, a teacher and a bit of a lover of golf. Fortunately I live close to one of the best golf complexes in the country, thirteenth beach and earlier this year I became a member. It was through the other members at Thirteenth Beach that I initially heard about the Hundred Hole Hike (#HHH). "One hundred holes of golf in a day, why the hell would anyone want to do that?" This seems to be the first thing I'm asked when I explain to people what we're doing. The answer I give is - I love a challenge and I can't think of better motivation than all those at Karingal acquired brain injury (ABI) clubhouse that will benefit from this event. The "hike" is to be held at Thirteenth Beach on Thursday 23rd January 2014, and any support that you can provide would be appreciated. Here's what you can do to help, we need sponsors, caddies and general support.

The wash up....

We made it, every last one of us.

It was a fantastic effort by all involved.

To recap.

First training night

Last night myself and a few other hikers managed to do a quick 36 holes around thirteenth beach GC. We managed to get around in about 4 1/2 hrs.
