Edward Grant

I am the golf professional at Laurel View Country Club in Hamden, CT. I grew up in Hamden and now live here with my wife Danyel and dog, Jackson. Having worked in the golf industry for the past 17 years I have had the opportunity to teach numerous people how to play. The most rewarding part of teaching is when I have the opportunity to give lessons to children who are excited to learn the game. Their enthusiasm and genuine excitement to be out on the course remind me why I loved the game so much and decided to spend my career on the links. Last year Laurel View hosted a Hundred Hole Hike and as I watched the golfers spend a day raising money for such a worthwhile cause I decided that next year I needed to part of it. Well next year is here, and while it’s crazy to imagine walking over 5 rounds of golf in a day it is an honor to be able to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation of CT. Make a Wish Foundation of CT provides kids the opportunity to forget about their ailments and struggles and to be truly happy, as well as make unforgettable memories for their families.
MY GOAL IS TO PLAY 100 HOLES
