I am very excited to be playing in my second Hundred Hole Hike on May 19th at my home course, Old Marsh. Last year I played 120 holes of golf at Stonewall Golf Club in Pennsylvania and through the incredibly generous donations of many friends, we were able to raise $45,000 for charity. This year, I have enlisted at least 15 other hikers known as "Bella's Army" and our goal is to raise over $200,000!!! I will once again, together with Bella's Army, be raising money this year for Bella's Angels, a charity about which I care deeply. Named after Bella Cavallo, a beautiful and sweet 12 year old girl, Bella's Angels raises money to assist families with children that suffer from life-long physical disabilities. Bella was born with C.H.A.R.G.E. syndrome. CHARGE syndrome is a recognizable (genetic) pattern of birth defects which occurs in about one in every 9-10,000 births worldwide. It is an extremely complex syndrome, involving extensive medical and physical difficulties that differ from child to child. The vast majority of the time, there is no history of CHARGE syndrome or any other similar conditions in the family. Babies with CHARGE syndrome are often born with life-threatening birth defects, including complex heart defects and breathing problems. They spend many months in the hospital and undergo many surgeries and other treatments. Swallowing and breathing problems make life difficult even when they come home. Most have hearing loss, vision loss, and balance problems which delay their development and communication. All are likely to require medical and educational intervention for many years. Despite these seemingly insurmountable obstacles, children with CHARGE syndrome often far surpass their medical, physical, educational, and social expectations. Our other Buddies have various serious health issues but all share in common a life of constant medical care and numerous surgeries. Notwithstanding their challenges, our Buddies are beautiful kids with a love for life with parents that cherish every day with their children Please consider sponsoring me to help raise money for this worthwhile charity, whether it be an amount per hole or a set amount. Thanks so much for your support!!!

I'm Hiking for Peyton!

Meet our buddy Peyton. She is my inspiration this year for participating in my fifth Hundred Hole Hike.

Why I'm Playing This Year

This will be my fourth HHH and this year I'll be hiking for our new buddy Jaylen. He is almost three years old.

My First Hundred Hole Hike

Dear friends, as I sit on a plane heading home from Philadelphia and reflect on my day yesterday, I am so grateful for the tremendous support I have received from so many great people in my life!

A Great Way to Start My Sunday

One of the things I always look forward to on the weekends is having breakfast at Duke's Lazy Loggerhead in Jupiter.

Finally back to walking

Felt good to walk the course again! Shot an 80 with many missed short birdie putts and an awful back nine. Feeling good now but icing the back. Along way to go before the HHH!!!

One Month To Go!!!!

I'm getting ready to walk my first 18 holes since my back issues developed two months ago. I'm a little nervous but excited at the same time.

Awesome Kickoff Party

We had a great kickoff event at Old Marsh on Tueday with family and 50 close friends to celebrate the HHH and raise money for Bella's Angels.

My First Post!!!

Welcome friends to my first ever blog entry.
