Chris Sullivan

I have been lucky enough to run a few marathons (New York and Philadelphia) and play a lot of golf over the years, so doing a Marathon-of-Golf seemed like a great idea when I first heard about the Hundred Hole Hike. I live in Bryn Mawr, PA with my wife and 3 kids (Jack, our youngest, is in the photo above with me) and work in Investment Banking in NYC, but still manage to find time to play a decent amount of golf with friends, family and work colleagues/clients. I’ll be playing at Brookville CC on May 15th with my close friend Mike Caputo, who has done this event in the past and assures me it really is a good idea to play 100+ holes in one day….we’ll soon find out about that! I am raising money for a charity that is very important to me and my family – Cradles to Crayons in Philadelphia. Cradles provides low-income children with the essential items they need (clothes, books, shoes, etc) by collecting new or nearly-new products through grassroots community drives and corporate donations. The organization started in Boston in 2002, expanded to Philly in 2007 and most recently opened in Chicago in 2016. I have been on the Board for several years, and am currently the Board Chair in Philly where we provide Kidpacks (a package of clothes/books/toys) and Back-to-School Backpacks to over 75,000 local children each year, and also engage over 25,000 volunteers annually in our facility. In addition to my Board role, our family has volunteered in our Warehouse, called the Giving Factory, many times……my son Brendan has his picture on the wall from a recent class trip, and my daughter Carlin is the Head of the Cradles-to-Crayons club at her school. We have a true family commitment to Cradles-to-Crayons, and I sincerely appreciate your support in raising funds for this terrific organization though my Hundred Hole Hike.
