About One Divot
One Divot is the charitable organization behind the Hundred Hole Hike. Through creative, golf-related fundraising events such as the Hundred Hole Hike, One Divot hopes to bring together passionate golfers who want to use their love of the game to have a positive impact on people's lives. Specifically, money raised through the direct donations and corporate sponsorship will go into one of three areas:
1. To provide support to individuals in the golf "family" who are in dire need of medical or financial assistance (akin to Ben Cox);
2. To develop and provide support to "grow the game" initiatives, particularly amongst youths in traditionally underserved areas.
3. To offset modest administrative, fundraising and website-related costs for hundredholehike.com.
One Divot's directors and other active participants (collectively known as "The 101 Society") are all unpaid volunteers seeking to fulfill One Divot's above mission out of a shared respect for the game.
Incorporated in April 2012, One Divot is a non-profit public charity exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code.
