Stevens Point Country Club

Stevens Point Country Club has recently undergone a complete rebuild of our golf course- and the results are spectacular! The renovation has introduced new character and strategic interest into what was already an outstanding golf course. Re-designed by Craig Haltom, the updated course includes bold features, and has revealed the natural beauty of our property in unexpected ways. SPCC is fully open Spring 2017! The scope of work included all new bunkering and tees (including five sets of tees for golfers of all abilities and ages- from 4,400 yds to 7,000 yds), significant widening of fairways, comprehensive tree management, restoration of beautiful sandy naturalized areas, three new holes and a new state of the art irrigation system. In short, we have a brand new golf course- one that is classically inspired but fully refreshed and ready to go for the next 100 years. ...but maybe you've heard all the trees gone? Not true! Literally thousands of trees remain, and beautiful native specimen trees throughout the property are now highlighted in ways that were not possible before the renovation. Where there were once rows and rows of red pines flanking the sides of each hole, we now have a golf course that is more interesting, more open and brighter, and one with playing corridors that are integrated into the natural sandscapes and pine forest that are native to the site. Beautiful!
