JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. JDRF’s goal is to progressively remove the impact of T1D from people’s lives until we achieve a world without T1D. JDRF collaborates with a wide spectrum of partners and is the only organization with the scientific resources, regulatory influence, and a working plan to better treat, prevent, and eventually cure T1D.

Stats from my hike

Some stats from my Hundred Hole Hike yesterday to support JDRF and JDRF Illinois at Flossmoor Country Club.

Just 9 hours until tee off time...

Just about 9 hours until I tee off tomorrow morning on my first Hundred Hole Hike. I'm very excited (and maybe a little anxious) for my first hike, not fully knowing what to expect.

Preparation continues and thanks for the pledges

I continue my preparation by trying to play as much golf as possible, which meant twice this past week.

Finally Spring in Chicago area

Finally feeling like spring in the Chicago land area. Looking forward to getting back out on the course this weekend.

How to prepare?

Be trying to figure out the best way to prep my body for this quest. Tried to convince my wife that I needed to play golf everyday and twice a day on the weekends (that didn't fly).

May 29 Blog Post

It has been some time since my last post due to travel and the holiday, although it looks like Jim Colton and others have kept busy on Twitter during the holiday!

The HHHole-in-One Club

Hiker Jeff Tang made a hole-in-one today during HHH training at Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora, IL.
