A Big Walk for Tiny-K 2.0

On a Monday morning last June, a little before 6:00 a.m. and a little before 100 degrees hit, I embarked on my first Hundred Hole Hike. At that time, I really had no idea what I was getting myself in to. At the end of the day, after 108 holes, endless amounts of Gatorade, and too many strokes to remember, with your help I had raised close to $2500.

Now, nearly a year later, I find myself more excited than ever to train, play, and raise even more money to help support one of my favorite causes - tiny-K Early Intervention of Douglas County. Tiny-k helps provide early intervention services in the form of physical, occupational, speech therapy, and other home-based services to children age birth to 3 with special needs in the Douglas County, Kansas area. Our family has been fortunate enough to benefit from these services. Although Molly is now 4, her therapist continues to check in with her to make sure she is progressing - which she is, thanks to tiny-K's "early intervention"!

While I love Lawrence Kansas, this year I have the extraordinary opportunity to be able to "hike" at the fantastic Dismal River Club in the beautiful Sand Hills of Mullen, Nebraska. While my hike will take place there, I would love for you to pledge your support for a cause that is very close to home. Join with me on July 1st as I hope to walk more holes than I did last year, raise more money, and even more awareness for such an outstanding cause. Every little bit counts, so whether it's $5 or $500, I would love for you to help me make this big walk for tiny-K a success once again this year.
