Thoughts, Opinions, and Relief From 108 Holes

This is pretty late to finally post my last blog entry from my 108 hole hike journey that took place. I wanted to provide some thoughts as I walked almost 40 miles in a single day.

The 108

Six years ago, the Hundred Hole Hike got its roots from the "Ben Cox 108". That's when I initially set out to play six rounds of golf in a day at Ballyneal for caddy Ben Cox.

COMPLETE!!

What an incredible day.
What an incredible feat!

Mission Accomplished: 128 Holes on June 19th

I'm happy to report to those who don't already know that I played 128 holes on Monday, June 19, meeting my goal exactly. I've attached the scorecard from the rounds.

117 Holes Hiked!!

117 holes walked in 2017. I have so many people to thank for their support and pledges.

Less Than One Week

Been hitting the range and going on long runs in preparation for my hundred hole hike on June 26th. I hit over 300 balls this past Saturday and am feeling really good.

42 Hours

About 42 hours until I hit the first tee shot on my way to 128 (or more) holes at Ballyneal. Thanks to everyone who has pledged.

Awesome Day

All six of us finished 100 and a couple did a couple more.
Over 60000 steps, 26 miles.
14 hours.
Now on to collecting all the pledges, we could be over our goal of $6000.

TOMORROW - Rush Lake Hills in Pinckney MI.

Nervous day!
Are we prepared?
Are we trained?
Have we packed everything we'd need?

Keepin' It 100

I have to admit something: as of three weeks ago, I wasn't going to do the Hundred Hole Hike this year.
